I was also confused for a moment and amused for minute or two.

During the fight with the flagship, be sure to do this in the first or second phase. The third phase flagship is equipped with a teleporter so this could be used to counter the MC + Teleport strategy.
If I have teleporter I am teleporting to RF beam room and destroying it provided I cant kill it in one volley.
And if I have MC phase 3 is not a problem even if I have only 6 Engi crew.
I never said it was good advice, just that it was an interesting strategy. There are far more efficient ways to dispatch the flagship, of course. The MC + Teleport strategy is just different and actually does work.
I did a Lanius ship run with a crew of just Lanius and no air using this strategy and it was hilarious to watch the flagship crew suffocate one-by-one on MY ship. I didn't even have to go fight them that time.
