FTL runs at 720p on my 1440p monitor

As the title says for some reason ftl wants to run at 720p instead of 1440p thus resulting in a very blurry experience, it doesn't matter what settings I change or what betas I use the issue is still there, can anyone help?

The game's pixel art is built around 720p. There isn't really a way to make it higher rez without just scaling it. You can try messing around with the various windowed options to see if it looks better, but there isn't a 4k version of FTL that you can unlock.

No its not, ive tried every mode and its the same resolution.

The games pixel art was clearly 1440p before the update, none of the windows settings will help, and the game is actually running slightly lower then 720p

I tried it and got that too but if you go into the options menu and click close it seems to scale back to normal.

Can anyone else help? The game always has the same 720p resolution no matter what I do.
