Summary:
- Rock A is kinda awful but the TP is right next to the medbay, so don't bother buying weapons - buy a TP instead
- Rock B also needs a TP ASAP and yesterday if possible
- Rock C is fine
Also, buy batteries early when you can. They're cheap, don't count against your system limit and are removed from the RNG list when you have them, making it more likely a desired system (like TP) will spawn at future shops. I don't hesitate to sell the rock shield for scrap if doing so gets me a needed upgrade and often sell it when it doesn't so I can get to shields 2 faster. And as always, always, escape out of the store screen and check the map when landing at a store to avoid the spent-all-my-scrap-on-meh-stuff *facepalm when another store one system away had pre-igniters, hack modules and glaive beams/halberds/burst-2s.
Any time you have rock crew and LR scanners or a revealed map, visit hazards in nebulae for a good chance at a profitable blue choice event.
