If you're looking for a traditional roguelike, Cogmind is fantastic, though I also have to give a nod to Tangledeep.
If you're looking for games like FTL, it still remains pretty unique in the field. Off-hand I know of a couple of games that have adopted the node-based exploration, but these have mostly fallen short. Most recently, Pathway had a system like that with squad turn-based combat. I'd give that a solid 6/10, though it could easily hit 8/10 with a bit more work. It was a few years ago, but Skyshine's BEDLAM was pretty good and had some interesting ideas, but was held back by a baffling combat system at release. They ended up modifying it to some extent in the end, but I never revisited after that. Maybe I should.

To this day one of the more funny games in the genera I've played. Tons of odd little references, jokes, and just plain strange but neat stuff.
The same creators of FTL also made a game called Into The Breach. I don't usually like turn-based games, but this one is special for me.
Grim Nights is another Rogue-like, but with a 2D town building aspect and survival.
Heat Signature is a fun top-down, strategy game that's fast paced (you can pause though). You're part of a resistance and are trying to liberate the whole sector by doing missions. You select characters with different perks and go do missions and eventually get epic weapons and gear. However, if your person dies you have to choose a new one and start with the basic stuff again. The store page gives a better explanation.
Shortest Trip To Earth is a game that is VERY similar to FTL, but it's currently in early access and is much harder (IMO).
Edit: Forgot to mention a new game coming out called Crying Suns. I'd recommend giving it a once over.
