Slipstream On Linux
So I recently switched to Linux, and downloaded the Slipstream Mod Manager with the Captain's Edition mod and the Resource Packs. I put them in the mods folder, however I don't know how to launch the application on Linux to use them.

you gotta use the .jar version. right click on the .jar and select "run in java runtime".

Which for me is "openjdk java 6 runtime". Linux Mint 17.3.

I am on Manjaro XFCE 18.1.0 and I do not see that option. Java seems to be installed on my system though.

Well the actual command it runs is just:
/usr/bin/java -jar /blablabla/file.jar
