easiest possible way to unlock the mantis ship?

i have the a kestrel engi zoltan and stealth a also have the a,b and c types for all but the stealth

There are two ways to unlock it. You can defeat the Flagship with the Zoltan Cruiser (at least Zoltan A, I'm not sure if B or C will unlock it as well), and that's probably the easiest. The other is by successfully completing the KazaaakplethKilik quest that randomly occurs in the Mantis Homeworld.

If you're not at the point yet where you're able to win with the Zoltan A, you'll have to hit the Mantis Homeworlds with a level 2 Medbay, crew teleporter, and a crew that can successfully board a mantis ship. Your best bet for getting the random encounter is to choose routes that have the most amount of hostile sectors.

Win a game with any layout of the zoltan ship on any difficulty, shouldnt be really hard^^

I got it with the federation c not too long ago, it has most of what you need for the job from the starting point, which is really nice. Unfortunately that ship can be a bit of a pain if things go poorly, but you can't have everything I guess...
