I would recommend pausing the game first (spacebar) of course ; I don't remember if changing screens pauses automatically, I think it does, but I'm not sure.
(Keyword(s) being "when there are things that you will need to learn". What you do when you are done with the task/s is up to you. Just don't cause problems for yourself by not having the knowledge and/or qualifications you need to do what you want to do later on.)
Then why did you use the word "procrastinating" and are worried about the teacher walking over?
Wait for a sale, it'll be on $2.50.
Oh, and FTL has a very nice pause function but the insane difficulty means it's not much of a procrastination game for short breaks (< 10min). However it is very good for hour breaks and will keep you occupied during your lunchtime.
Or you could study, sidle up to the teachers and ask for bonus textbooks to read (teachers love a student that actually wants to learn), do some side reading that interests you, go scholarship hunting (or make preparations thereof), stretch yourself...
Find FTLgame.exe , right click, properties, compatibility, disable DPI scaling on something something something.
B, it is a small school and the teachers know each student so getting on their good side is easy,
C, I am a freshman and I don't need to worry about scholarships.
But thanks for the advice :P
