The Flak on the Lanius B however tat is overpowered. it uses 1 power for 3 shots and it shoots even faster than the normal flak.
"YOU ARE HUGE. GUTS ARE HUGE. RIP AND TEAR!"
The reason flak isn't OP is because it sucks at hitting autoscouts and in fact any 2x1 room. I had a full flak run with the Crystal A (was something on the lines of Flak II + 2x Flak I) and while that murdered anything I came across hitting autoscouts was terribly, terribly, slow.
Literally Flak but more accurate.
Or Flak + any beam.
Yes, but BL2 is rare as heck when Flak I is as common as muck.
I still have never had more than three BL2, but I've had four Flak I plenty of times.
Also damn three BL2s that's some firepower.
1. show up
2. enemy threatens
3. I do not care
4. DOOMDOOM
5. "Your ship is surprisingly well equipped!"
Maybe not the absolute strongest, but still quite ridiculous and hilarious. Especially with cloaking for even more free shots.
Flak, like ions, travels more slowly than your laser spam.
That said, Flak I is easily the best of all the common weapons.
Considering how tough this game is in general, I find it hard to object much to having just one really useful item you're actually pretty likely to encounter.
