Descent Into Darkness wont go away!

I installed the descent into darkness mod a while ago but got bored and wanted to try something else. However when I tried uninstalling DITD it would still be installed when I started up FTL. After reinstalling FTL there where no mods but when I tried to install a different mod but it re-installed DITD somehow. I've tried reinstalling slipstream to no avail and am at loss. Any help would be great!

Delete or unmount the mod in question via slipstream and it'll make it no longer boot up like that.

I tried that before but i have managed to fix it by uninstalling both FTL and slipstream again. Thanks Friend

You should also empty the "backup" folder in slipstream if this problem occurs.

i realize im late as hell, but i am having this issue now and this thread is the only one that seems to exist. none of the solutions mentioned have worked for me

I would back up your saves and just delete all files associated with FTL. I think that's what I had to do.
