Try to force vsync through your graphic card's control panel (works with Nvidia can't say for other cards).
I followed all the steps, and it looked very promising but the resolution is still very low.. When I check in Regedit after launching the game, the width and height always go back to 800 and 600.
Is it normal than I can only launch the game from the library and not from the exe files ?
(Sorry if there are some mistakes in my statement, english isn't my mother tongue).
(but thanks for trying to help me !)
The important part is to copy the game exe and rename it as ASMLauncher (so it actually runs when you launch the game).
When launching the game Steam runs ASMLauncher so by renaming the exe we're tricking the game into running the exe directly instead.
If you don't rename the exe then the game will still be using the launcher and as a result it will reset your settings every time you're running the launcher.
Correct. That is the only solution I've found to bypass the setting menu (and avoid the resolution being reset to the default value).
Too bad this workaround doesn't work for you guys.
For me I only have the game.exe renamed to ASMLauncher.exe

after tested the setting.. only shadow on medium can run smoth.. higher than that make the game crash
You will find these exe in your game folder (you can right click in your steam library select properties and local files or browse until you get to the game folder in the Steam folder).
