You might also need to manually force 144 hz inside Regedit since the game might only use 60hz, for that, look at the widescreen notes on how to do that.
Hope this works and has finally solved it for you. :)
EDIT: do not use the hex edit anymore, as it doesn’t work properly anymore, for me, and other users. So refrain from using it for now, until and if someone makes a new framerate unlocker, if that’ll ever happen.
With unlocked framerate i can start new game and play through the first mission perfectly fine, but then just starts and keeps crashing...
Kinda sucks to be stuck at the game's limit/lock (62 fps), but hey... at least it's not 30 fps like on consoles.
