Silent Hill 2 or Stalker 2 , what to buy ?

I want to buy either Silent Hill 2 or Stalker 2 this year.Silent Hill 2 looks great , but its for 20 hrs gameplay, so the price maybe to high right now.
Stalker 2 will have gameplay for 500 hrs or more ;] , so the price is worth it.

probably you are right.For me Stalker 2 looks better then Metro Exodus , so I hope its going to be as good , as it looks like.

I pre-ordered Stalker 2 months ago just because the Stalker series is amazing, and I have been waiting for the game for awhile. I bought Silent Hill 2 as well. They are 2 completely different gaming experiences. Do you want a first-person shooter with horror elements, or a survival-horror that is story focused?

In terms of replay-ability I would say Stalker 2 probably has more gaming potential. I love this game, but after beating it once I feel like taking a small break before going back to get other endings. Silent Hill 2 was a top-notch experience though, and it was well worth it for me.

TLDR; It really depends on your preferences as a gamer. These are two vastly different gaming experiences.

Also I wouldn’t hold breath on S2 this year. I’m hyped and one my fav series of all time but like, yeah…we’ll see what happens here and therefore I’d argue no sense rushing to pre order at moment.

Or to buy this at full price. But if in market and looking for something, I mean, this one is actually playable lol

If you own an Xbox, get the Silent Hill HD Collection (offers Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3, which I would have preferred was remade instead of 2 or at least the first one, to make more sense)

That's what I got and can enjoy the OG Silent Hill 2 and all its glory. This remake just offers nice graphics to look at but also censored/edited stuff. Reminds me of Resident Evil 2 Leon with a Silent Hill 2 filter and some basic combat thrown in.

Stalker 2 would most likely be the best and more worth it option (its even a bit cheaper) You can pick this version of Silent Hill 2 up (if you really need it) on a discount. Tons of sales are coming so, just wait a bit. You won't die from not playing this game right now.

I personally don't care for the Stalker games, so it's a no-brainer from my point of view. But you shouldn't let the "20 hours to beat" thing turn you off of SH2. It's intended to play through multiple times to get all the endings and unlock hidden items, so that estimate is deceptive.
