100%GPU usage no matter the settings

I got 100%GPU usage (According to windows game bar interface)No matter the settings and the fps cap 60-30......Temps are pretty normal though)Note i have only test that from the starting point to a well inside the forest.RTX 3080 10GB latest drivers and latest version of win 10(Other games never stuck to 100%)Anyone else have that?Any fix?or its just fine as long i got normal temps?

Temps are normal 75c and holding with ~55% to ~70% fan speed

100% GPU usage is what you want, it means your hardware is being fully utilized to give you the best possible performance.

If it's 100% GPU usage even when lowering settings that just means it still needs all the GPU to give you the graphical quality and performance you've asked of it.

For example, let's say on my 4090 i max the game out and it gives me 60fps and it needs 100% of my GPU to do so right, then i lower everything to the lowest settings possible and now it kicks out 240fps (example) it may still need 100% of my GPU to give me that performance.

The only way to reduce your GPU usage is to cap your FPS, by doing that the GPU has to do less work to give you your target frames therefore reducing your usage.

Thanx for your time to answer my question.But i cap the fps at 60 i got 100% GPU usage i also i cap the fps at 30 i still got 100% GPU usage BUT lower temps(60 fps ~75c and ~70% fan speed.30 fps cap ~65c ~55% fan speed)I will try to set the resolution to 720p and DLSS at ultra performance and see what happens.Also all my tests was with RT Off.I will also try a different monitoring program i only used windows game bar but so far at every other game seems responsive....

That's a strange one.

Unless certain settings cause the GPU to do more work regardless of your FPS.

I know when i tried to cap my FPS in game it didn't actually work, no idea why but my FPS stayed uncapped, unless i needed to restart.

Also i'm assuming you're actually using the 3080 and not integrated graphics? I'm sure you are but it can happen :)

Not really sure what to suggest without seeing it, i just know that 100% GPU usage is a good thing, it's weird it doesn't reduce if you cap your FPS though so i understand if you feel maybe something is incorrectly causing it to hit 100%, but i feel like if performance is good and temps are fine then you have nothing to worry about.
