Game becomes unplayable after jumping down hole in Bluecreek apartments

I jumped down the hole from floor 3 after doing the bird puzzle and when I landed everything was black. I thought it was part of the story, (new to franchise) and I could hear sound. I couldn't open my map or do anything, just the game menu. It eventually froze and I had to restart losing my progress.

I lost 30 minutes of gameplay since my last save. I tried it again hoping it would be a one time thing, nope it did it again.

Any ideas what I can do?

I have tried multiple times now with my settings all turned way down even though my pc is more than capable. What gives? Who do we contact for support

Having that same issue now, did you ever get past it?

I found I had to constantly hit the button that reposition the camera usually, and then most of the time it worked.

I've been having the same problem, even after the Oct 31 patch.

It seems like I can move around. I can fire the gun or swing the club.
If I open the map, it is all black but does tell me I am in Bluecreek Apartment 1F.

I've tried changing graphics settings from 4k to 2k. DX12 and DX11. Made other changes just to try things out but nothing changes that black screen.

yes all that happened to me too and it happens for any of the cut scenes where we jump into the hole.
