It was shocking and creepy. It was the most iconic moment of the game. The sexual undertone and confusion was just perfect. It was like a fever dream that you see a sexual scene that is actually not really happening... it was perfect horror.

Gone. Too much for modern audience, I guess.

Here is the thing, even if it has the same animation data and it's happening there, you would never know what's happening if you hadn't see it in the original already.

There is no way you get any clue of what's going on if you only play the remake. But because you saw it in the original already, you think of that when you see the cutscene in the remake. It's so lame it happens completely off camera. You don't even catch a glimpse of it. Zero. You see a hand holding a leg at some point and that's all.

What.... um... its still in the game. If you wanna pull the "they censored it" angle go back and rewatch the original cutscene and watch the new one. Fun fact. Pyramid head in the og didnt actually do the act either the angle just showed him leaning up against the counter holding the mannequins legs. In the remake james peers past the wall and sees Pyramid head still doing the same thing. The scenes both have the same exact implications on what had or may have been happening

What the hell? It shows nothing in the remake. In the original you get full screen imagery of Pyramid head with the two mannequins in plain sight.

I guess this troop's post explains how it got Overwhelmingly positive reviews. If you're all ok with that.. then this modern audience they catered this game for do exist to some degree.

There was a reason why that scene was shown. 1, intentionally become uncomfortable. 2, to understand James more, what that scene represent.

Not showing that scene other than to imply, shows that the team or Konami does not understand why that game was that special for so long.
