Very few weapons?

I remember more weapons from the original, a bit disappointed by this. I doubt, but I would hope they implemented more weapons like the knife, per example. Any thoughts, or did the devs say anything about it?

Apparently the boomers had a spray can weapon that was cut from this remake

I'm loving the game, the fact that it has less weapon doesn't take anything from it. I'm just genuienly curious.

Oh and they had the pyramid head knife you could use in ng+ that was also cut from the game

With the inclusion of the new combat system, it is a different game than the original. With the new combat system you really only need one melee weapon. It would be fun to have the great knife come back again.

Exactly! It would be impossible to remake the cut weapons because of the new combat system

You could have different weapons that have the same kind of range and combat combo tho. Like a stronger one of the same type that you could find later in the game, rewarding the player for exploration. At least that's the gameplay base of all Survival Horror.
