Settings help for a NVIDIA 1080
Got the game today and loaded it up runs okay but with skips in game and sound and also looks sort of blurry in some areas. I will list what I'm working with:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K @ 4.00GHz
!5.93 GB RAM
Display 1920 x 1080, 60Hz

I have done some changes and it seemed like it helped alittle but still little hiccups here and there and having the sound cut in and out sometimes makes me really want to fix the game because the sounds in this game is one of the most important thing to this game and well any game really. Ive heard theres files to update or replace and other things but I prefer to have a good written guide and a good video guide to go by to change settings and files. Any tip or guide or video anyone has will help.

I have a 8700K , 16GB and a 1080ti . Game is playable with high settings on Full HD, just set shadows on low and shader on middle. Maybe deactivate SSR.

But to be true. The game is not optimized at all.

I was suprised the first 2 hours i could play the game with max settings, but after i reached Wood-side Apartments, the game becomes a stuttering mess with too much framedrops. Like every new AAA game :-(

Also there are already some mods on NEXUS to fix the stuttering / bad performance problem....But i don't want to use them right now

What i've been seeing too. So Not just me with problems with a build that should run it ok. I am trying to find a guide to show me about game files because one of them is old and needs replaced. Forgot which is it though.

Hi guys! You could try this. Especially with your 1080s I'm sure it would help. I was able to fix my stuttering and run the game on mostly max with just low shadows and medium shaders.

Best wishes!

Unfortunately it didn't helped, framedrops in the brookhaven hospital are crazy.

But thanks for help, hope Konami drops a performance patch. Maybe i will use a Mod, but i'm afraid in this early stage to use them,

Using dx11 instead of dx12 could help with getting more fps.

Thanks yall. I havent got around to doing stuff cause wishful thinking of them patching it. I really dont like having to fak with games to make them run right when then should just come out like that especially if it says itll run on a old rig. But modern gaming for ya.

First impression after patch 1.04:

Game runs smoother on high settings (Shadows = middle, SSR OFF) for me. Framedrops & Stuttering reduced, now it's better playable without performance mods.

Still needs some little tweaks.

I might try to again but just uninstalled it recently. Thank you
Hi. Did they improve it meanwhile?

NOPE ! You will need at least 12 gigs VRAM to run it smoothly... RT. on max. shadows and max. shaders.. otherwise on low or middle RT. off.
Settings guide= Get a new GPU
4core i7 and gtx 1080
very retro
