Can't get in water ending

I have keep my health at critical, inspect the knife over and over again, listen to mary at the long hallway at the end and still keep on getting the leave ending, its my second playthrough trying to get this ending and I can't get it even after seeing critical red the whole entire game and inspecting the knife 24/7, idk what to do, any suggestions or is it bugged?

That was actually the first ending I got o.O Sorry, can't tell you what to do but can say (at least.. partially confirm) that it's not bugged. At least not to my knowledge.

That's how it was on the previous game. I always hated the conditions. There are many features that can change the ending such as low health, protecting Maria, visiting the room where Maria is sick, listening to the dialogue on the long corridor, among others depending on the end.

I wish I could help you. I spent lots of time in mid-health, and inspected the knife a ton towards the end of the game. I was actually pleasantly surprised I got the IW ending as I was expecting Leave again.

I finally got it, I think I figured out the requirements finally, see I thought after the hallway than your ending is determined but its determined even throughout the boss fight, see I got hit so I died so reset my health so basically you have to go into that boss fight with low health and not heal and not get hit than you get it, very weird requirements but its whatever just so glad I finally got it
