Patch Depots Wiped from Steamdb. No more patches?
In Steamdb all depots are gone besides public. Was wiped Dec 11 12am. so i guess we stuck with the performance issues and half a$$ed FSR. If someone knows more id like to know.

Run well on my AMD laptop (Ryzen 6900HX - GPU Radeon 6800S) - average 80-100fps (I use FSR 3.1 + Frame Generation ON)

I'm going from 60fps to single digit frames in some areas and during combat sometimes. This sucks. i7-9700F 32gb - RTX 3070 running on DLSS Balanced

They were updating it I don't know why they just removed the branch after work was being done on it. They release a patch that makes the game crash more and then just leaves. This is so ridiculous on top of the stutters I really regret buying this game. Thanks Bloober and Konami I will not be buying another product near launch from you.

Yep, classical Bloober Team. Konami and them simply pissed on PC users and called a day. Not a single cent for them again.

And left us with a soundtrack missing 70% of content. ♥♥♥♥ you!

seems that way, they moved onto the next game and abandoned this game which is a stuttering mess. there's always the PS5 version but I really don't like the idea of double dipping to reward them for this awful PC port. genuinely baffled at how this has overwhelmingly positive reviews, when the majority of people are probably getting worse performance than I am with how high the recommended specs are.

killed any hope I have for this franchise now if this is considered to be an amazing game, bad performance is incredibly distracting for me and many others, the original silent hill 2 has perfectly stable performance (on an emulator at least).

I see this as the team doing what they have to do to clean up their setup - viewing the update history, it shows that amongst the changes being made (including aforementioned depots being removed) is a new private branch being created. I would believe that this private branch will be how the devs would perform testing for unpublished patchwork before committing those changes to the public branch.

In other words - I don't see any issues with this, as any indicator for activity is good. Tightening up the launch process for new builds means that there is still activity going on for the title, and for the folks at Bloober to go to such lengths on organizing their internal process would suggest that they are still cooking away in the kitchen.

Thats A ok with me if there is still development on it. Was curious what the private branch was for. Only thing is we cant see whats being updated. Never seen this before or have any clue why they would make a private branch but as long as theres hope im open to this.

Why are you monitoring the steamdb page if you don't understand the information that appears there anyway?

I was already wondering, if any dev likes to get monitored this way.
But for the customer, just less clue about wth devs are doing...

Apart from seeing player count, SteamDB became useless
