Fix for Noisy Hair when using DLSS

The graphics option settings in this game are borked. Here's the very stupid way to fix noisy hair when using DLSS:

Instead of using a "Custom" rendering preset, you need to select "Epic".

My Custom settings were exactly the same as the Epic preset settings, except that I turned motion blur off. However, setting it to "Epic" for some reason fixes the noisy hair. Clearly, there is some kind of option missing from the custom settings that prevents users from making this adjustment for themselves.

If you want motion blur off, you can still have it off with the "Epic" preset by editing engine.ini in %localappdata% \ SilentHill2 \ Saved \ Config \ Windows and adding the line
r.MotionBlurQuality=0 underneath the heading [SystemSettings] - you may need to create the [SystemSettings] heading for yourself.
