Great Knife/Sword Bug…tried reloading with no luck..

I’m beyond frustrated at this point I’ve looked over many posts about the great knife bug in the labyrinth not showing up.

I’ve followed the advice given by different players on how to bypass the glitch via restarting the game from an earlier save point or restarting entirely. I have restarted the game numerous times and started from the more recent save points without much luck. I really don’t want to restart from a much earlier save as those go back to the Blue Creek Apartments and the auto saves are all within the labyrinth.

I don’t really know what else to do beside just delete the game at this point. I don’t want to restart as I’ve put 25 hours into the game. I don’t know if I’ll be able to progress the game without the sword unless there’s a ways around it. I have all the recent updates Bloober Team put out and got those before reaching this section. Any help would be great. Thanks!
