thanks for the useless feedback.
Okay have you only updated DLSS and Framegen or in some games Rayconstruction? Never update Reflex or these other files related to DLSS, Framegen or Rayconstraction! The game will crash. If DLSS causes your crashes, then the problem must be DLSS related.
even with no overrides or nvidia app installed at all it crashes. as soon as DLSS upscaling is activated, the game goes boom. this CANNOT be a coincidence after the new dlss 4 update from nvidia.
well this "works" but then you cannot use dlss upscaling anymore lol. I'm absolutely baffled how this isn't a bigger topic here on the forums. Is this a boomer/zoomer thing where most people just don't update their drivers?
Look on "Nexus for Optimized Tweaks SH2 - Improved Performance Reduced Stutter Lower Latency Better Frametimes"
Install the main file "Optimized Tweaks BASE"
go then to optional file and install also
"Enable RTAO and GTAO"
"Enable DLSS Ray Reconstruction" and
"Force Nvidia Reflex"
...and copy Rayconstruction in your game for the mod to work.

Some how this mod is fixing the crash problem. Even it is not intented to do that.
I deinstalled the mod and the game is crashing also by me. Then I installed the mod again and games runs well. I also updated DLSS to the newest DLSS4 version. Hope it works for you too.
thanks, mate! but to be honest I can't be arsed to do that just to play a game I paid for. the devs should fix their sh.it asap.
It works because you arent using dlss 4 but dlss 3.5 ray reconstruction.
572.42 IS stable. Or do you want me to use the studio drivers?
I know you said you did all of that but just to make sure, you tried deleting ini's correct?
If so does it crash as soon as you enable DLSS or at next game start?
I've always updated windows & drivers as soon as they're available and haven't had any crashes. I'm also on Win11 and have a 4070 & use DLSS but haven't had any problems. I also tried enabling/disabling a few times & switching to the last few drivers (with and without the app as well as various settings inside the app) to see if I could get it to happen but couldn't.
Are you using any mods or anything like RTSS, afterburner or reshade? I use RTSS and no mods or changes other than the in-game settings menu & the NVCPL profile for the game for Gsync settings such as LLM=On Vsync=On
Can you post some screenshots of the errors and any other info? Same for settings you're using in-game & any changes in NCPL globally and in the games profile?
Edit: Forgot to mention I'm using Gsync and that I've always used it. Not that I think that has anything to do with it but it is the one thing I didn't change while trying to recreate the crash.
Anyway, the issue occurs when G-Sync and frame generation are enabled at the same time. The way I "fixed" it was by disabling G-Sync in the NVIDIA control panel. You can either do that or disable frame generation, but unfortunately, they don’t currently work together. We have to wait for a driver fix.
I've been in contact with NVIDIA support, but they couldn’t resolve my issue. I hope they’ve forwarded the information to their software engineers.
Both enabled here and working just fine. Maybe its a 4080 thing?
