Tried a bunch of stuff, but what ultimately worked for me was:
1. Disable Steam Input for your controller (Steam->Settings->Controller->Enable Steam Input for Xbox controllers->OFF)
2. Plug the controller into my PC via a USB cable
After doing those two things, I got full vibration support working.
Would love to hear other folks' workarounds if you've got 'em.
Didn't work for me. I get almost no haptic feedback when using xbox-controller except a very light rumble when i'm attacking enemies. But that's all.
Yeah, i got the vibrations working with my xbox-controller only one time on my SteamDeck. Then there was a great haptic feedback when navigating through the game-menu. But i don't know how i got it working and after a game-restart, the haptic feedback was gone again.
Very strange and i hope there will be a fix soon. Something is definitely wrong with it.
Prices up, quality down, and if it doesn't suit you, buy better hardware or turn on DLSS or other forms of image scaling and optimization will be ok. I always thought that DLSS was invented to relieve the load on the graphics card with ray tracing turned on or to getting high fps due to high refresh rate monitors. Apparently I was wrong. For me, a game that doesn't allow for smooth gameplay on a PC while the console framerate is locked at 30 or 40 is simply crap.
You're right! Another big problem is that most developers these days are using UE, which is notorious for stutter-problems.
