I definitely recognized it as satire but I mean... in a few months will the term "woke" have expanded to include every possible definition of things alt-right fascists don't like, prompting them to make posts even more absurd than this yet simultaneously 100% sincere?

As someone who could honestly give two ♥♥♥♥♥ less about the skin color or gender or sexual preference of a freaking videogame character in a fictional universe, the fact that every other topic seems to be about stupid ♥♥♥♥ like that instead of, you know, important information such as technical issues, praise or criticism of the gameplay itsellf, basically stuff that helps me decide whether I should buy it or not.

I'm glad the Steam Forums still exist because between genuinely informative posts about the games, just like user reviews, play a MAJOR part in helping me decide if I should buy a game or not. And thanks to these anti-"woke" people who won't stop saying the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things over and over I have sift through so much crap to find the useful stuff. It ends up wasting so much time.

Yeah, it will. The expansion already started a while ago. Initially, it was considered 'woke' to feature a transgender character in a game. Then it evolved into simply having a female character. Nowadays, people label almost every game as 'woke.' That's why I said Silent Hill 2 is more 'woke' than Dead Space, because believe it or not, when the Dead Space remake came out, there was (and still is) a huge controversy about it being 'woke,' due to some posters on the walls of the Ishimura and because the protagonist's wife wasn't a scantily clad, beautiful vixen, even though she wasn’t one in the original game either.

Luckily for us normies, anti-woke folks are willing to compromise. Female leads are actually allowed in video games, as long as they're almost naked, have big badonkers and don't get to participate in too much dialogue.
