Hangman Puzzle ( noose )

For the love of god!!!!!! how do you even complete this f***ing puzzle?!! i swear to god this is the worst Sh** i have ever seen. I checked google, the sentences are different from what i have, watched a streamer, he went on his first noose and completed it, i did the same and i failed, what is this mindplaying bullsh**?????? is this different for all players? please help, i cannot deal with this rubbish!

If you have it set to hard it's V. Light and Standard are the ones probably being used. They are I and II.

In the OG Silent Hill 2 this puzzle was random. It also depends on which difficultly you play it on. The answer in the OG game was written on the wall but the gist is you need to pick the person who is innocent of the crime then pick the corresponding noose in the other room. Not sure if it works the same way in the remake though.
