Is the PC version locked to 60 fps??

Why won't it let me go any higher? Even if I turn all graphics settings to the lowest it won't go higher than 60 fps??

I have no problem running 120fps on other games what's the issue??

no, is not locked, however, cutscenes are locked to 30 fps. Turn ray tracing off? use DLSS?

you forgot to disable vsync and your monitor is only 60hz ?

Like I said I have turned everything to the absolute lowest to test it and it still won't break 60?

I have said in my post I have no problem with 120 on other games. It goes without saying my monitor is not 60 fps. I have tried both vsync on and off even at tiny resolution

Why does the game feel smoother than at 60? It is a shame that today games are capped at 60 when there are already 500hz monitors.

I'll ask a question and not troll you like the other kids responding to this post. Could you tell me your graphics card, RAM and if you have installed this on HDD/SSD/NVME? Also - monitor? Is this G-sync or other. If you provide me with this, I should be able to help you optimize it a little better.

Ok, have you set the Render Quality Preset to Custom? Then you can access the Advanced Quality Settings and lock/unlock fps etc.

If you got that, then I am not sure why your game is locked, maybe NVIDIA control panel settings ?

because higher framerate is smoother? 60hz is noticeably choppy compared to 120hz. why do you think mobile phones have a high refresh rate these days ? It's not a call of duty...

Alright. If this is first time load up, shaders may have been configured during playtime. If Nvidia, make sure drivers have been updated (although there is no specific game update for SH2). You can also replace the DLSS file within the game with the updated 3.7 version (I believe the game is on 3.5). As stated by others, and I take it you have already done it... ensure the framerates are unlocked and also make sure to uncheck motion blur as this helps.
