Due to being one the last heavily graphic games i played besides last of us so that’s why i compared it.
Yet wukong uses the same engine as silent hill and from what I heard it had godly performance yet silent hill couldn’t even get that at lunch which is a bummer. So hopefully Nvidia releases a drives update and makes it run better 🙏🏻
I initially started it up with DLSS on quality and was seeing dips into the 50's. changed to performance and capped fps to 60 and its solid.
I'd expect like 2x this performance with my hardware. It's a good looking game but any other game that looks as good performs a lot better.
Right now i got to town and the stutters are worse for me, even in buildings which sucks honestly.
Dang wish i saw that lol
Of course you can compare, there are so many older games that look better than SH2 and don't perform like crap.
In fact the games should be running better today than 6 years ago.
Instead games looking worst and acting as CPU/GPU hog.
It's dev's skill issue not knowing how to properly develop the levels then optimize the game.
I completely agree UE5 is the most “powerful” engine and yet it has the most issues with performance so I honestly wonder sometimes if the engine sucks or if the devs don’t optimize correctly.
The usual folk who see through stutter -- I understand, I only gamed on console during PS3/360 era and I didn't notice those systems' poor performance at the time -- will tell you the game is fine; that you need a better PC; or you need to do all these stupid little fixes that just result in placebo effects.
If you're somebody who notices stutter, you'll notice it a lot in this game. RE4 Remake and Wukong have a little traversal stutter. I can see past it to an extent. SH2 Remake has it very frequently.
