This is obviously a request to tell me how to do it, not to try to intentionally be annoying.
I've been away from my computer. And, as I explicitly said in my post, that option does not disable the colors, just the other visual effects. The text still turns orange and red even with that option disabled.
And if I run out of healing items or don't want to waste a healing item for only losing 10% health?
If the answer is "no" that's fine. There's no need to be ♥♥♥♥♥ about it.
Healing is not always the option in Silent Hill 2.
Some people are worse at combat or finding items than you are. Or perhaps someone is doing a "no healing" run. Or etc. Other realities than your own exist. The answer to the question is "no" not "heal."
