Disappointed

I dont know what people find fun about this game ive slogged thru 6 hrs now trying to ,,,, forcing myself to beat this game regardless of where i am in the game its BORING you walk in a lifeless town the atmosphere is boring and stale the monsters arent that gutsy the pyramid head is stupid and not that scary mind you i play this game in the dark and immerse myself until im ripping my eyes out walking around foggy areas with boring characters if there any so far i saw two chicks and a girl idk if or why this was a hit in whenever it came out but its not fun i was super excited for it because it looked fun but i can say this is a huge letdown and did i mention a foggy mess of walking around from a to b with lame puzzles etc

Was "Hereditary" a "Fun" Movie for you ?

Seems Like you want some Dead Space or Resident Evil Kind of Fun.
This is the wrong Genre for you.

actually i did watch hereditary and i found it very funny and a good slowburn horror movie but to call this story driven no there rarely any cutscenes within 6 hrs of gameplay psychological maybe if you call that losing your mind from going thru an open area to area finding random stuff to get to the next area to do the same thing this is not up to par for an 70$ game its a complete letdown and all i will get is fanboys which is fine i understand that i enjoyed other remakes but coming into this looking at a new game in 2024 im just disappointed

The original game was popular for it's story and atmosphere

never for it's game play, which was never good

So if you can't get into the story, or you already know it from the original, this will probably bore you

Yes this is my first silent hill game and i tryed to have fun with it and will probably beat just because i bought it...but for people to insult me and say im a cod fan because i dont like this particular game is ridic i love STORY games and this just feels like 2 second cutscenes every hour or more and im just getting story from lil tiny notes and figuring puzzles out am i the only one not drinking the koolaid

Silent Hill settings are generally in the deserted town, with less than 5 or 6 characters. This setting is pretty true for the first four entries especially. The story generally you'll have to piece them together. It's kinda the game design and theme throughout the series. Of course, nothing wrong if you dont like this kind of setting, the game is probably not for you then.

I mean you admittedly posted in a different thread that you need to look up guides to solve puzzles, so can you really blame people to assume that you have limited mental capacity?

One im not a child im sorry if i come off that way im older and just because i dont know the WHOLE entire series from what i read about the game is its different every game so from what i understood is "oh im basically starting a series with a new story...to me" im trying very hard to understand this game and whats is good and bad about it and played about 8 hours now so as someone NEW to the series im not aloud to be disappointed by one single game out of the series and from what im told in the above posts is its the same thing every game so if you want to insult me with little effort when i try to explain to you what i do not like about the game and how im disappointed and say kid this and kid that....is trying a new thing not aloud and then voicing your opinion and trying to figure out what the big deal about the game is that bad jeez
