Fix for framerate unlocker here :
https://github.com/RoseTheFlower/UltrawideIndex/releases/tag/silenthill2remake
Doesn't really seem to make a difference though uncapped since most of the animations are hard-locked at 30 fps. Lossless Scaling motion interpolation - getting it to look like 60 fps - is about all that really seems to help that.
No worries, enjoy the game :)
Makes no sense to have this aesthetic though, since it returns to high FPS (assuming you're at least getting 60 or above) outside of the cutscenes. Developers should know by now the transition is jarring and immersion-shattering. Admittedly your average person probably doesn't mind it, but I guess plenty of us DO too.
just spitballing bs ideas at this point.
