1080 ti, i7-8700k performance
Hello guys, I'm planning to upgrade in the near future, however I'm kind of impatient in regards to the game and was wondering if anyone can confirm whether it's playable on 1080 ti? Thanks in advance

SH2 use Unreal Engine 5 and had perfomance issues because that.
Wait for the mods and fix patches.

1080TI= 30 FPS locked will run smooth
after patch/tweak mod *(medium settting) 60 FPS

Hm, this sounds too good to be true, anyway I'd be happy with 30-40 fps on medium/high, 1080p, It's an old gpu after all.

You can always overclock things if you have EVGA tools or anything along those lines and get more out of your card. just because it's old it doesn't mean it can't be more self sufficient.

Keep dreaming, no chance.

4090 only just goes about 60 maxed out at times and thats with DLSS Quality (something 1080Ti owners won't be able to use).

Hey, that's literally the exact same specs I have! Same card and cpu. If you pick the game up let me know how it runs as it's hard to get much info on benchmarks with the 1080ti these days. (Dunno why, it's the MiG-21 of graphics cards because quite a lot of people still have them due to their relatively cheap price, and they're still somewhat powerful despite their old age.)

My PC is pretty similar to yours and I'm getting like 50-60 fps on 1440p with my optimized settings and a solid 60fps in 1080p. https://steamcommunity.com/app/2124490/discussions/0/4849904828214035643/
Try it and let me know what you think.

Thanks for sharing, how do we turn ray-tracing off for 1080 Ti?

It should be disabled by default, if you even have the option with that card. There are some people editing the engine files with commands to definitively disable it, but I wouldn't expect that to be necessary in any way.

I feel like I cant enjoy games anymore unless they are at least 80 - 100+ FPS, even at 60 I can tell its low.
