I'm not even sure what removing the "antifog cone" would look like here... just a gray screen with a James character model on it? What do you envision this looking like in your head?
There should be some fog around the character and between the character and the 3rd person view camera, even if it is barely perceivable. There probably is an antifog cone around the character, it's probably the easiest way to do it in UE5, or rather fog is only rendered outside the cone/cylinder...
Maybe a camera filter would be enough to simulate the fog, if the back of James didn't have such "vivid" colors he wouldn't look so out of place in the middle of a fog.
Actually maybe it's just the shiny hair(that is somehow lit from down and behind the character) in the middle of a fog that looks bizarre... just checked there is a mod for that(Titled "Less Shiny Hair"), maybe OP should try that...
