I haven't checked my firmware but I am also have issues with consistancy. The LED functions are working properly but the vibration and adaptive triggers have been randomly dropping off.

I haven't played enough to test on the new firmware but on the previous firmware, I had no issues. Everything worked as intended for hours. Maybe it's just luck that a firmware update doesn't screw your controller up.

I noticed this too my light barley comes on. I was playing cyberpunk I feel like it's doesn't vibrate as much as it use too but, I do have another one I know that one has been plugged off for a few months I'll try that one and, report back in a few.

OP might use cheat engine god mode and let horde of enemies attack for .. vibration. ..

Please do. I have another dualsense I can use and I think it's on an older firmware as well. I just have to find it.

Update: yes the one that hasn't been plugged in a few months functions alot better.

Nice. I found my old controller and the firmware is 0402. This controller does not have the speaker issue, but the vibrations are the same.

Thank you for reminding me I had an old controller! I hated having to unplug my controller every time I loaded a save.
