Mod to remove fog?

Basically I'm not a fan of all the fog/haze over everything. I get it back in the day they used it to get around performance. But me personally I prefer a more clear image.

Anyone know of a way to disable the fog?

the game needs more fog, and denser, rather than less.

the fog already looks silly, since you are able to see most things and is really hard to not notice enemies or anything.

the fog is supposed to be one of the main "annoyances" anyone must deal with when "called" by silent hill.

a mod that removes fog could be nice to take photos and focus in sim-walking, but not for actual gameplay. such a mod would be as detrimental for gameplay as a mod that would freeze enemies and allow you to ignore them completely.
