Mod to remove fog?

Basically I'm not a fan of all the fog/haze over everything. I get it back in the day they used it to get around performance. But me personally I prefer a more clear image.

Anyone know of a way to disable the fog?

The fog is part of SH atmosphere and scare factor, that's why you have a radio buzzing when monster approach. I know in the original it was partially for technical reason but ironically it is the scariest part. Take away the fog and you have a lame RE clone
