Radio on or off

So how are you guys playing the game. Radio on or off? I turned mine off since i love getting surprised/jumped in games like silent hill.

Honestly I prefer to have it on as it increases the tension when it starts to crackle and you can't see what's there yet.

The silent hills aren't jump-scare horror games. The atmosphere is what does the heavy lifting. And the radio plays a huge part creating that eerie feeling.

That is understandable but i also love having to look around the environment to locate the enemies.

In headphones radio always hear from left. So you hear that enemy near but dont know where is it
