I will say if you can play with a controller that vibrates they are using the rumble to really great effect to scare the crap out of me a few times.

I just wanna let people know that the mouse and keyboard controls are very well implemented. I've been playing a bit and it feels like a game made for PC, which sorta makes sense because most Bloober games were PC first. I know most PC gamers will just play with a M+KB and then try controller if it doesn't work, but if you're unsure, don't be scared by the disclaimer message.

Mouse selection works in menus, that sorta thing. No awkward scrolling through the options with WASD or anything. All the tutorial prompts are for M+KB, spacebar is dodge, it all seems very polished. There seems to be basically nothing wrong with the M+KB controls, and I'm assuming the "controller recommended" thing was just Konami asking Bloober to play it safe.

I have tried both kb&m and controller and i gotta say i enjoy both equally. Imo controller seems slightly better at melee combat while kb&m is slightly better at using guns.

With controller you lose half a gameplay. Only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ use gamepads in 2024 in 3d orientational games
