I was originally purchased the standard edition on Steam for $70, USD. However, I just saw on GreenManGaming.com that they are running a huge, 22% off sale on both versions.

Standard is $54.59
Deluxe is $62.39

They give you a Steam key. This is an easy win for anyone who wants the game - only downside is you can't refund, if you are unhappy with the game.

Not yet. I would imagine before tomorrow's official release. GreenManGaming has always been on time for me. I've used them for years.

No it doesn't. You can talk about official key sites all day long on here. You can even link your Steam account directly to GMG and they are even a publisher on here. The publisher (Konami in this case) gets keys from Valve and sells them to GMG. It's one of the reasons why Steam grew to such a large size over time as they allowed these other stores to exist.

Just got mine but it doesnt say deluxe on steam, will it change on release?

WinGameStore also got key cheaper. Digital Deluxe is 59-60$ there. And it's an official store not key reseller! I even got my key today.

It should say Digital Deluxe when You activate it. Later it just says Silent Hill 2 in Your library not Digital Deluxe Edition.
Check out Your email. Steam sends mails there after You activate games and check if it says Digital Deluxe Edition there.
It should say
"Nazwa produktu (Product Name in English I guess?): SILENT HILL 2 - Digital Deluxe"
in that email.

They are not GMG so they are not advertising for their own personal benefit.

Got my key and activated, appears as Digital Deluxe when activating and on the email, but as everyone says, it just says Silent Hill 2 in the library. Also, in steamdb it says I own the Digital Deluxe package (Sub ID - 921850), so I think we are good.

If the email and upon activation it said Digital Deluxe then You have nothing to worry about.
Steam always shows the official release date (8th October here) not the early access date.

The deluxe content will show up as DLC but the DLC tab is hidden until launch if memory serves.
