No it doesn't. You can talk about official key sites all day long on here. You can even link your Steam account directly to GMG and they are even a publisher on here. The publisher (Konami in this case) gets keys from Valve and sells them to GMG. It's one of the reasons why Steam grew to such a large size over time as they allowed these other stores to exist.

Just got mine but it doesnt say deluxe on steam, will it change on release?
Check out Your email. Steam sends mails there after You activate games and check if it says Digital Deluxe Edition there.
It should say
"Nazwa produktu (Product Name in English I guess?): SILENT HILL 2 - Digital Deluxe"
in that email.
They are not GMG so they are not advertising for their own personal benefit.
I just got my Digital Deluxe key from GMG.
Steam always shows the official release date (8th October here) not the early access date.
