as you know, in recent years, there's been a trend of Western developers making women in their games look ugly or not very feminine.

In some cases they've been talking about characters which were modelled after actual women so really the trend is 'making women in their games look like actual women and not what certain people imagine women to look like'. Huge 'vagina bones' energy.

This isn't true.

There are many examples of them modifying the models from the original actresses to ugly them up or remove feminine traits such as Ellies gf in last of us 2 where the actress irl is busty but for whatever reason they decided to chop her tits off in the game.

There's also the starwars outlaw game.
Rl actress is incredibly attractive irl but they decided to beat the in-game character model's face with a ugly stick.

Ok I'm literally one of the first who goes ballistic against any DEI ♥♥♥♥. But please let's be fair and honest here: The characters are obviously (a bit) chubbier and manlier than their original VAs.

They look like their voice actors whereas in the OG they were based on Cameron Diaz and Sandra Bullock, so yeah they probably aren't as attractive as literal movie stars. That doesn't make a game "woke".

The voice actors are definitely less chubby and "manly". I personally don't really care because the game is awesome but it's a point that is justified.
