If you like horror games you should play it, it's one of the all time greats in the genre and you don't need to play any other Silent Hill's, this one has it's own story.

If you're going to get into the series, Silent Hill 2 is the best IMO. The story is stand alone, unlike 1 & 3 which are connected, and it introduces the most iconic monster in the series. (Pyramid Head.)

If you love horror you definitely should. If you love feeling emotional dread you should. If you like your games making you FEEL something you definitely should

Do you like horror games? It's the best one this year, so yes you should.

I already finished the game and intend on getting the 7 other endings as well as fully completing all the achievements. This game is absolutely worth buying, I'd personally rank it as the horror game of the year.

You don't need to play the other SH games but if you want to understand the references and easter eggs found in the remake then I also vouch to do that.

Depends, do you have a high tolerance for UE stutter on PC? If yes then yeah, if no then definitely no, get the PS5 version as it doesn't have that issue.

It's way better than the only other Silent Hill game on Steam, the awful Homecoming port.

This game is a lot better than I expected it's amazing to be honest. Only downside are stutters and fps drops, but I can live with that.

I'm not big on horror games and I've never played a SH game before myself, but I ended up picking it up because I wanted to finally play through a game that people have been raving about forever. I haven't regretted it. I'm still not great with horror, but I just beat the hospital boss and even when I turn it off to chill out a bit, I'm thinking about how I want to pick it up and play again.
