So much better than Resident evil 2 remake in all aspects. Gameplay, soundtrack, graphics, combat, story, plot everything you name it. Good job Konami and Bloober Team!

Combat wise not even close it's so simple and even clunky in this game it's not bad but it's also not good like I wouldn't want to replay the game a second time just because of the combat.
story, plot yes graphics yes/maybe I can play the other RES Remake game's at max settings and have like 120fps this it's hard to get a stable 60fps.

That's not saying much these days. Capcom can't make a remake without cutting out 1/5 to 1/3 of the game. Ethan Winters is meh as a protagonist, and the worst sin of all: they ruined Jill Valentine. At least they fixed the horror show that was Chris Redfield's RE7 face in 8.

Apples to oranges, man. Women in RE games have always been insanely attractive, and that's great, but women in Silent Hill, especially 1 and 2, have always been more average looking.

RE2 has better combat because that is the focus.
RE2 has more unlocks for NG+.
RE2 runs at 200+ fps.

SH2 has better story, graphics, and soundtrack.

I couldn't care about Blooper being behind the remake, but one word immediately sold me. Akira Yamaoka, once he I knew he was back, insta purchase for me and to be honest zero disappointments for me at the moment. lol

Two very different games with diverging goals.
One is more "action" oriented and the other is psychological.

At this point, this is more akin to compare apples to oranges.

SH2R is alright.

I'm a huge fan of Silent Hill, but let's not get carried away. Resident Evil 2 is the gold standard of remakes. This one is decent, but not even in the same league.

Have to strongly disagree with this. First time playing SH2 unlike a lot of people who are blinded by nostalgia. I just finished the game with the Maria ending. Took my time and finished in 22 hours. My thought process throughout most of the game was that this game is making me want to play Resident Evil 2 or The Last of Us instead. Less clunky controls for RE2 and I honestly didn't like the story in SH2 and the gameplay certainly felt torturous at times.
