How far along am I?
I have just reached the section in Toluca Prison where I solved all the door puzzles with the scale and weights and have to do the puzzle in the yard where you have to assign the sins and then select who was the sinner or hang them or something.

I've done a quick google search and someone mentioned that upon reaching Toluca prison in the original, you should be about 2/3 - 3/4 of the way through. Now that I beat the prison section (I think?) and I'm about to do the hang puzzle in the yard, how much more is left? Not too much right?

You're hitting the home stretch... 2 more big areas basically.

Alright got it... I mean I saw the story trailer and I still haven't seen some scenes that were in the trailer, during my playthrough so I still have some to go... will they be harder than Toluca Prison itself or? I'm running on combat hard, puzzles medium and I've got a good stockpile of ammo and plenty of heals for any bosses that might come up now.

Toluca prison is to my mind the worst part. You'll be somewhat "comfortable" considering how you're performing with the rest of the game.

Toluca prison is easily the hardest and creepiest part of the game. I actually find it the worst too where I was rushing through it to get out and onto the next part with how much back tracking and lack of any type of "fun environment" and complete darkness it has. The next part is vastly better but I don't want to spoil it.

Yeah I really loathed my time there. I'm about to hop on again to see where this leads to. The prison was terrible and the ambient noise in the yard made me slow walk around all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ corners because I thought I could catch the monster and kill it. It's so dark man... the prison and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lights some of which barely stay on for like 15 seconds it's ridiculous along the wall crawling thing. My radio was popping off the entire time lmao.

'Somewhat comfortable' is not reassuring considering how oppressive the atmosphere of this game is man... I'm really curious as to what is coming up so I'll see...

Toluca Prison is prolly the most oppresive zone/chapter of the game, but imo the next zone is the most disturbing/sick one. After those two (Toluca prison + next zone), the last one feels "lighter" in comparison, but it's still Silent Hill, so it will be creepy and uncomfortable anyway. Silent Hill 2 ending is "gorgeous", and they've nailed it with the remake. Man, it almost made me cry. That music... :')

YEAH, the whole section of the Silent Hill History building to me was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrifying in the original and in this remake they didn't fail
Basically when you get past this area, the game is more "soft", I'd say that from the end of The Silent Hill History section to the end of the game is "satifying?"

After toluca you actually get a little bit of a break in the next section having significantly less oppressive of a vibe overall
