safe bug ?

I got stuck in Room 206, I'm playing on "light" puzzles and using the 15 right, 11 left, 13 right combination to open the safe but it won't open, I tried using the RE2/RE3 method just moving the dial then pressing "accept" and nothing, then I tried pressing "accept" button after moving the dial 15 times, then 11, then 13 and nothing happened, hell, I even tried doing the opposite direction and yet the safe won't open. Does anybody know how to solve this bug?

I've never encountered this bug before but I was playing on Standard. If it's a bug I can only suggest reloading your last save and trying again. Because your input is correct so it doesn't make sense as to why it won't open.

I've did some researching and a lot of guides seem to be mixed for light difficulty. Some are saying its 15 right, 11 left and 13 right and others are stating otherwise. I did find a video of OPs answer in light difficulty though:

Hopefully the video helps, if it doesn't then it might actually be a bug.

One website was saying its counterclockwise, clockwise and counterclockwise. Basically saying left, right, left and others were saying right, left, right.

I resorted to YT and had to go through several videos before I was able to find one done in his difficulty. Being on my phone I accidentally linked the wrong video when trying to show it lol

yeah still cant open it i went back 15 mins in game and got back to room 208 find the safe and im doing the combination code right i know i am. iv played re2 and 3 so iv done these before

Are you absolutely positive?
I remember getting stuck there on my first playthrough (on normal) and getting frustrated until I finally realized I had a brainfart for one of those numbers.

If that is a bug it's pretty weird that it persists even after reloading and trying again. Just in case I'd try every other combination.

I'm pretty sure it fails if you go past one of the numbers, but for light it is > 15 < 11 >13 then hit accept.

I had this problem. What I did wrong was I was turning it 13 places (or 7 or 11 etc) instead of turning it to the number 13 (or 7 or 11 etc).
The instructions refer to the number you turn the dial to. Not the numbers of places you turn it.

I hope that makes sense.
