(Spoilers) Endings.

I find it kind of crazy this game punishes you basically for being thorough. Got the in water ending twice. Trying to get different endings and yeah i looked at the algorithm for the endings.

Funny, because most of what I have heard is people specifically trying to get the Water ending but getting Leave instead. The game starts out weighted towards the Leave ending,

i thought examining marys picture a lot would show james cared and not get in water ending. and always healed immediately. it was on hard difficulty and i died a lot though

I examined zero of the items in my inventory, including Mary's letter, checked up on Maria all the time, used the fresh apple and ruby red gem and still got Leave over Maria. Was trying to knock out Maria first since you can't just cheese the ending to get it later. The endings do seem a bit broken.

I already have a save before the VHS that can redeem any of the 8 endings. It's not that hard to manipulate.
