Maybed missed a memo??

Hello, I could use some help in Silent hill 2 remake rn. Ive gotten every single collectible in the game except the one that im missing in the basement at the hotel, keypad number memos. The downstairs bar is blocked off from a pipe blowing hot steam, and the elevator on the 2nd floor doesnt work anymore. Is there any way I can get this? I really dont wanna do a a 3rd run on just the last achievement that im missing when its right there and I cant load back any earlier than right before room 312

So, that bar with hot steam, I remember you had to use a valve to turn off the first steam area for progression. At least if I remember right. After re-take that valve and then use same valve on bar with hot steam.

Im already past that and ready to go see mary at room 312. I dont think I could go back

I don't think he cares what is on the memo, he just wants to pick it up for the achievement.

You don't have any earlier saves from when you first entered the hotel? Replaying the hotel area may be your best bet.

Sorry, it probably looks a bit funny because it was a copy paste from a guide but those are the steps to get it. Maybe you guys or someone has a better solution though. Hope OP can easily get it without having to replay.

No my problem was that I got locked out of the basement and there was no way back. My only solution was to do a replay and get all of the memos again.

I sadly do not. Only save I have was right before you go meet mary in 312 and can get the ufo/dog ending
