Great game and story! TERRIBLE RENDERING AND GRAPHICS.
The models, textures, lighting, effects are all solid and super well made! However, this game is PLAGUED with so many visual artifacts/bugs/oversights. James Sunderland's model ghosts really hard. The reflections are fuzzy and jitter extremely hard. Small particles like leaves in the beginning areas leave long noticeable ghosting trails (unless the DLSS is updated and set to preset E in which case this is only visible in the reflections). The lighting bleeds from outside to the inside areas in the beginning sections + apartments, so you'll be seeing white reflections and bright surfaces in dark unlit areas. James' silhouette occasionally bleeds white colors in these sections also. Many of the ingame animations (not just cutscenes) are locked to 30 fps. During the night street sections, the lights reflected in the water becomes extremely bright and starts flashing when you move the camera unless you have supersampling off and TXAA enabled.

I'm assuming these are just Unreal Engine 5 quirks, but does anyone here have a definitive explanation for these? Am I the only one who's noticing this stuff? It's been bothering me to an insane degree.

I noticed the white outlines but haven't had any of the other issues you have mentioned... Could be some of your graphics settings in nvidia if you have an nvidia card.... The cutscenes are locked at 30fps though, which is just... bleh. but tolerable. Everyone is having stuttering when the game is loading new areas you don't even see.... If you have everything maxed out maybe some settings should be switched or lowered. The good thing is going from high to medium on a lot of settings doesn't really effect much you can notice. Some people are saying the FPS is worse with this latest update, ironically it seemed to smooth my game out. who knows

Idk why people are complaining about the graphics. This is the most photo realistic game I've seen

Not at all, same here.

In general it does indeed look photo realistic! but what's the point if that illusion breaks every couple of minutes because of poor supersampling + lighting + reflections that constantly break your immersion and remind you you're in a poorly optimized game that should not only look "photo realistic" when you're standing still and looking at a certain angle
