cannot start game-antivirus blocks new .exe file

Has any one had same problem as me, cannot start game after new 1.05 patch/update
screen has block stating--
an error occured while launching game:disk write error
silenthill2\shproto\win64\shproto-win64-shipping.exe
Is this an error or is this file valid

Yes i had the same problem, just tell your antivirus to make an exclusion for the game. Then verify your game files via steam again to make sure the game’s .exe was not deleted or moved to quarantine
