Abstract Daddy
Was I supposed to shoot him during the hallway section? By the time I reached the actual boss room I only had about 13 bullets between all my guns. Im on easy so it was enough but for future reference when / if I play this on Hard, what should I do?

PS. what an amazing fight oh my god ive never felt so scared & disgusted by a boss before. 10/10

First time playing against him I so freaked out that I simply forgot I could dodge.
hahah fair, I did panic big time. I thought destroying the TVs was what made him spawn back in after you out ran / dmged him though? What do the TVs do than?
Before the open space, that is, the final part of the battle, you run around these corridors while he's trying to reach you. There are two ways to defer him there. (I) Damaging him and (II) destroying tvs. Both strategies achieve the same, lights go off, boss screams, the scenario gets more destroyed.

If I remember correctly only on the first instance there's no tv and you have to damage him. The other two or three, you should run around until you find the tv set. Just run around until you see it.

The Abstract Daddy fight is one of the coolest changes to the remake lol

So much tension in that little hallway!

I had to check to see if my neighbours slipped an "R U OK?" note under my door. My buildings old & you can hear everything. Including my horrified shrieks every time he burst through the walls. Knowing Angela's story before hand just made it so so much worse. Such a good fight omfg..

Hmm, either the neighbor is being murdered or they're playing Silent Hill again. The fact that nobody called the police means that they heard you screaming and thought, "I don't want any part of that." lol

I can only play when I know everyone's out lol. Which is daylight hours. Even with the lovely sunshine right next to me I had to take a break after that fight. Im still so damn disturbed... I've never had the urge to hug a bunch of pixels til now lol :(((((( Poor Angela.. She doesn't deserve to be here

Abstract Daddy is really, really easy. Just make him whiff, dodge sideways, 3 hit pipe combo and repeat. I took zero damage on Hard mode....

Abstract Daddy was definitely the first moment playing the remake that I thought "Oh hell no, absolutely not."

It was the best worst thing they could have done with that fight.

I think destroying the TVs is necessary to progress through the areas/stages of the fight.

Therein lies the problem. One does not simply "not panic" when dealing with this thing...

They improved the abstract daddy fight?? What else did they improve? lol
River Victor Oct 25, 2024 @ 4:04pm
If you're trapped in a loop section, shoot him. If there's a TV to smash, or a closet to hide, do those to progress. The only part you need to shoot him is the beginning of the fight, in the first loop, then after ducking into the fan to the second large room.

Everything. Flesh Lip is no longer 3 bullet sponges but one solid difficult boss. It fights back hard and have phases. All bosses have phases now with varying tactics and levels of aggression. Abstract Daddy is the most intense and seen the largest overhaul. Eddie has 3 phases also and hurts a lot now too.
