i just watched the movie yesterday and i cant believe i didn't watch it before, if you are a fan of silent hill is a must, what an awesome movie,
its practically the best silent hill movie

Yeah i already watched it a few times. The devs of the original game most certainly saw this movie at some point before making the game. Some stuff in it is exactly like Silent Hill. And the movie is from 1990.

Yep, Jacob's Ladder was Silent Hill before Silent Hill and is basically the blueprint for SH2...

I hope you're not talking about the 2019 version because that was damn terrible and no its not a Silent Hill movie, also the original Silent Hill movie was a pretty big success, keeping in mind you watched the uncut version.

Sure they took some inspiration from the movie just like tons of other movie/games in general but in my opinion they don't give off the same vibe, glad you enjoyed the movie though, its definitely one of my favourites.

BTW before i get attacked here, some could also say Room 1408 is a little like Silent Hill too, i recommend that if you haven't seen it.

The first silent hill movie has the most terrifying ending of all... End up on a bush view.

If you like this demake, you would like Stranger Things. Very similar writing and level of scariness.

If you like SH4, The Cell and 13 ghosts were definitely source of inspiration for it and are worth checking out.
