Over a million sales apparently across both PS5 and PC.
About 10 million, I would assume that's a joke as not even Resident Evil is reaching those kind of numbers...
Its a niche genre, more players are gonna go with action games with less emphasis on the lore and back stories or shooters like war zone or battlefield or delta force.
Survival horror isn't the success story it used to be in the 90s, Only after RE7 was survival horror finally making a return but again its a niche market.
In fact, given that it's at around a million sales currently, it actually mirrors the numbers sold back when the original SH2 came out for the PS2.

Then there's the fact SH2 is platform locked to pc/ps5 only for a year so theres also the likelihood that it's going to release to xbox and gamepass at some point I guess.
Why would it not be now?
It does not really help one find something as a success when the comparison is "it sold better than trash"
Silent Hill 2 Remake sold 1 million in three days.
A little difference :)

But again, it is everywhere, not that hard to find.
Well dang, thanks for the sources, too bad it did'nt do any better after that...
Like it or not, the numbers are there, also handily linked for you in the replies after I made this post above.
Take it or leave it but SH2 is a success.
